Gift vouchers (£50 minimum) can be bought and put towards the cost of a portrait session/photo gifts. These make excellent gifts for birthday, anniversary, christmas or other occasions.
My preference is to work on location in the ‘great outdoors’. For example, I like to use settings such as the New Forest. From experience, I know that people seem more relaxed and the pictures are more naturalistic. I also find that clients really enjoy the natural surroundings. From a photographic point of view, the quality of light can be excellent and the colours are vibrant, especially in the Autumn.

I am also happy to take photographs in the client’s home. This makes it easy for you and plus you’ll probably be more relaxed in your own surrounds compared to going to a studio. I can do baby shots, indoor shots of children against a white background or shots in the garden of the children doing their own thing. I have a good rapphort with children of all ages and make sure I talk to them for a while before I even get the camera out. That way they don’t view me as a stranger and are more likely to co-operate.
Whatever your preference I am very happy to advise clients on suitable clothing/colours for photo sessions. Please don’t be afraid to ask for advice.
I also photograph family portraits for special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
