Your Wedding
Important things you should know
My style of photography is natural and casual, an approach
which helps create the
right atmosphere on the day and which in turn, produces beautiful
and relaxed images.
Photography is not just a case of’ ‘point
and shoot’. In today’s digital age, it is still
about understanding composition, lighting and the technical
aspects of your equipment as well as being able to cope with
the pressure of taking high quality photographs at each and
every wedding. It is also about recognising the importance
of empathy with your clients. That is why employing
a professionally qualified photographer is so important.
When
the wedding day is over and the excitement of the day has
passed, your photographs will provide the best memory
of what the day was really like and will be a source
of constant pleasure in the future.
The benefits of a pre-wedding shoot
I always offer my clients a pre-wedding shoot
( at no charge ), which is in effect a dress rehearsal for
the day ahead. From experience, I have found that this
helps build confidence when it comes to being in front of
the camera. It also gives us the opportunity
to build a rapport with one another which really helps on
the wedding day itself.
It’s
all in the planning
My approach to each wedding involves a great deal
of necessary planning. At the initial meeting with my clients,
I like to go through every aspect of the day as each client
has a preferred style of photography, with particular photos
and specific locations where they want photographs taken.
With this in mind, and before the wedding, I survey the venues
for the best locations and light.

On the day

On
the wedding day itself I will photograph your wedding in an
individual way to reflect your personalities
rather than take a standard set of pictures. In fact, previous
clients have commented that no two sets of wedding photographs taken
by me look the same and this is achieved because every
wedding is tailored to the individuals.
I work according to
the schedule of the wedding day itself. It’s your day
and I will fit in with your agenda. With seven years of
experience photographing weddings, I can advise you on what
is feasible within the time frame you are working to.
'venues I have worked at/are booked to work at include Parley Manor, Highcliffe Marriott, Sandbanks Hotel, The Haven, Rhinefield House, Chewton Glen, The Tithe Barn Petersfield, Harbour Heights, The Orchid, Lord Bute, Highcliffe Castle, Lulworth Castle, Athelhampton House, Italian Villa at Compton Acres, New Place Management Centre, Langrish House, Chine Hotel, The Miramar.
